We've also gotten the usual requests for Santana's "Winning", "Bette Davis Eyes", "The Tide is High", "Under Pressure" (suggestion: turn on KFOG and wait 15 minutes) and Rush.

I decided to Google my WTF selection. It actually kind of jams, and it's certainly more entertaining than "Winning":

"Bette Davis Eyes" at least is not a KFOG regular, while one could argue that "The Tide Is High" and "Under Pressure" are legitamitely awesome songs. But "Winning" is possibly the worst Santana has to offer (with the possible exception of "Why Don't You And I").

What makes "Winning" so bad is that Santana, who at least has become identified with his Peter Green derived tone, cops Mark Knopfler big time.   It's unbecoming of such a talented, if not totally original, guitarist.
Don't stand in the way of LOVE!

I like "Winning".  It's on my guilty pleasures list.  Please don't kick me out of the club!   ;)

I recommend the original version by Russ Ballard (orig of Argent) who wrote it and also wrote a wide variety of tunes for everyone from Roger Daltrey to Hot Chocolate to America and even Ace Frehley's "New York Groove" (!)

HM "Freeze-Frame."  This and "Centerfold" were my introduction to the J. Geils Band.

They did at least one post-Wolf album; I remember a single called "Concealed Weapons" getting slight airplay.
