I am verklempt!  Damn.

I know!  We were just talking about her on AL's FB page too.  I don't know if Fire And Desire is 10@10 material, but it's a damn fine song.

F&D is probaly too long and too slow but we surely can get AL to play "Lovergirl" or "I Need Yoiur Lovin'"

KPOO's Judge, doing his weekly show as we speak, was caught off-guard by the death of TM, but says he will do a 3-hour tribute on next Monday's show (Noon-3).

And I got in the car yesterday afternoon, flipped on KPOO and they were playing "Fire & Desire" -- lawd ha'mercy what an amazing track that still is.

one of my older friends came back to upstate from college in NYC one summer (or maybe winter break), and he brought all this new music -- stuff like Soft Cell, Laurie Anderson, the debut album this little band called Depeche Mode that he saw at some club (maybe Peppermint Lounge or Mudd Club?),  and one of the cassettes be brought was Teena Marie's album that featured Square Biz.

RIP Teena Marie.

<robot voice> I'm Tal-king Square Biz To You! </robot voice>
