Pink Floyd "Breathe"
good one.

I thought they would have played "Eclipse" as the 3rd song this morning on My 3 Songs, but I was mistaken.

Far from my favorite 3DN.  It's a shambala, how they messed around with this for "My Maria."

BOS Stevie, sounding congested on "Golden Lady."

WOS somnambulent Floyd.

My only knocks on GYBR are "Your Sister Can't Twist" and "Jamaica Jerk-Off."  And I could live without "Dirty Little Girl."  But masterstrokes otherwise, in my book.

sure hope this is the ZZ Top twinspin.

Have Mercy!

Pretty early in their career, right?  I saw them open for the Stones in Hawaii back then; seemed very influenced by ABB and others.  Did a cover of "Rattlesnake Shake" as I remember.

Tres Hombres was their 3rd LP.  Have you ever heard the audio clip of Hendrix responding to a question on the lines of "what other young guitarists are out there that we should be listening for?" and he says "actually, there's this kid down in Texas named Billy Gibbons..."

great set, good to see you all again.  Gotta help get the house ready; our daughter is coming in from NY tomorrow, so must tidy up.  Keep me posted on get togethers, and don't forget the eclipse tonight!

well, both songs written by the same guy.  "Maria" was Stevenson's "make-good" from radio for their having ignored his "Shambala" in favor of 3DN's version.

Have a great family get-together!  Shray, good to hear from you!  And Wayback, nice addition to our long-standing tradition of Santa hattery during the holidays!
