Jim Rigsbee, KPOO's Monday nite Oldies guy, is doing his annual Xmas show tonite, 8:30-11:30.  Always a highlight of the season.

JJ spins Gladys' "I Feel a Song" -- "he makes me feel just like a WAH-mun!"

And JB tellin' Santa where to go.  JJ in the spirit -- here's Otis' "Merry Xmas Baby". Ah feel lahk ahm in paradise!

Stevie knows what Xmas means -- it means "Love Power" by the Sandpebbles.  Damn, JJ is smokin' today: The Originals' "Baby I'm Fo' Realz". And now the Dells' "I Can Sing a Rainbow/Love is Blue" -- gawd I love this inspired mash-up (before mash-ups existed).

Nowadays "Back Door Santa" has a different meaning, no?

Why I love The Boardwalk: gem of the day, Peggy Scott & JoJo Benson, "Pickin' Wild Mountain Berries".

AaaacK: they just played Jazn Mrazzzz's "I'm Yours" -- just noticed the line "It's our god-forsaken right to be loved".  Er, WTF?

Holiday Find of the Week: listening to Viva Radio, waiting for The Funky 16 Corners Xmas Show, and they're playing Tom Waits, "Christmas Card From a Hooker in Minneapolis". DAMN!
