"AnnaLisa, do you think you could turn down this Steely Dan music a little bit ?"

"What you probably don't realize that we have a lot of old men farts on this board, and that music is all they have..."

sorry, couldn't resist!  :)

BOS2 Shine On You Crazy Ass Diamond.  Easily my favorite Pink Floyd song.

I predict a winner!

hee hee.

Do I hear the warmth of vinyl? Painfully slow build to some Floyd -- speaking of old farts. Tho' this is probably a bustout, so I won't complain.

Teddy Pendergrass' voice is so awesome that we (almost) can overlook these lyrics:

"I'm talkin' about the dope pusher
Stop pushin' that dope
Dope users
Stop usin' the dope"

see, I told you it was a symbiotic relationship

"You preachers
Start preachin' what you teach"

huh?

true... hehheh, I didn't notice that Gaz called out those lyrics, too:

BOS "Wake Up Everybody."  Marvelous songcraft.  And then there's Teddy's preaching: "Dope pushers!  Stop pushin' that dope!  Dope users!  Stop usin' the dope!  Politicians!  Stop lyin'!"

maybe Teddy needed a copy editor..?  Ho Ho Ho!

We've now had sax solos on three different instruments: alto in Dr. Wu, baritone and tenor in Shine On...so great!

I love "Fox on the Run" but it's becoming a bit of an AL-trina.  She lurves her some Sweet.

But any woman with the ability to make people "come" just by screaming -- I mean, that's dangerous.

"Fox on the Run" would get a giant BOS in most sets, but it only gets a VHM today.  It just keeps getting better.
