If we hear this Jeannie-locked-in-the-safe clip again I'll go postal.

"You're gonna lose that girl" -- cute.  another twin-spin here, I'm guessing.

BOS Help! clip; ditto "Hide Your Luv", luv.

Hilarious!  BOS for the Beaties!  Don't think I've heard "You're Going to Lose That Girl" on the radio before.

Obligatory BOSes to the Beatles (yay) ... but special BOS to the Statlers and their deck of 51.  I love how sharp the lead vocal is.

I know I've heard this yokely country thing before.  based on what we've heard so far being so well-worn I'll give this a BOSFRA.  Another banjo tune to add to our Banjo Song List, wherever that is.

Not to mention a whole kazoo ensemble.

Better than the Clapton version, anyway.

"and my feet are not accustomed
to this hard concrete"

brilliant songcraft, of the kind that was de rigeur in Nashville at the time.

I was referring to what turns out to be the Statler Bros, not the SF Bay thingie.  Actually, I didn't like that one too much.

but BOS to Marianne Faithfull.

and here's the We Five -- methinks this is a geoff-requested twin-spin!

ah yes!  this one is the BOS.  I know I've heard this one many times, but had to google to find out it's We Five - You Were On My Mind.

Such jangly pop, mostly in a major chord: what's not there to make you feel good?

:)
