Why do I suspect we'll get a '78 set in the next day or two featuring Jeff Wayne's War of the Worlds?

Little Steven devoted a whole show to WOTW Sun nite.

I'm missing the set (at least most of it, anyway) due to a lunch meeting.  BOS to "Forever Autumn" just on a hunch.

That's a pretty deep cut for Dave to play, but he always seems more willng to do that with Elvis than just about anyone else.

BOS3 WOTW.  Richard Burton beats Tom Cruise hands down.

"Forever Autumn" really shoulda been a MASSIVE hit.

Love this commercial medley, particularly the Sammy Davis alka seltzer ad.
Let's get right to it.

OK, was the Richard Burton dialogue part of the Moodies' song, or has DM been having fun in the editing bay again? They seem to fit together pretty seamlessly.,

From what I understand about this new WotW movie- Morgan Freeman does, like, voice-over narration. So, he's like the Richard Burton of this new version of WotW.

I think it's that way on the LP... or maybe this was a radio-only edit.  The freestanding "Autumn" is the 45 edit, I always assumed.
