Annalisa actually told me that "Popcorn" (my request) popped up in the most recent 1972 set, so I made another selection. I must be catching FB-itis.

HM to Gallery, hoping for a lot of Philly soul.  "Back Stabbers" would be nice; I'm in a pissy mood today.

WOS Robert John's needless remake of "The Lion Sleeps Tonight."  That falsetto was the only tool in his chest, and he wielded it shakily.

Robert John's version of "Lion Sleeps Tonight".  We learned on last weekend's AT40 replay from 11/2/79, that Robert John was one bitter dude after being treated third class by his record company.  For example, he received his gold record for this song unframed in a brown paper bag.

BOS/proxy of geoff, ABB "Blue Sky" -- didn't we hear this recently?

ETA: yup -- in the same set AL played the above-mentioned "Popcorn". WTF?

BOS Allmans, Blue Sky, always a pleasant tune.  Reminds me, anyone else see Cher on Letterman last night?  Good interview.
