7 Black Friday deals you can get right now:

they're advertising that "Barbie Video Girl" thing incessantly on Nickelodeon -- the camera's in her boobs, more or less. Creepy.

OMG.  Ladies of the 80s Barbie collection feat. Joan Jett, Debbie Harry and Cyndi Lauper.  Yes, Santa!

Hey, urth -- how far are you from Beaverton?  3-bedroom houses for less than $200,000?  Wow.

About 15 miles or so. But Beaverton is Portland's answer to Concord or Santa Clara. Suburban sprawl at its finest. Not surprised about house prices--there's been a lot of repo's and such up here; Oregon is a long way from economic recovery, I'm afraid.
Let's get right to it.

Wasn't sure where to put this... I couldn't find a "Grateful Dead" thread...

I stumbled upon an eclectic little shop out in the far East Bay -- the closest thing to a head shop
as I've seen in quite a while.  Among their merchandise are dancing skeleton bathrobes.  And
bags (as in handbags -- or something like them) made from record albums, including one made
from a copy of Mickey Hart's Rolling Thunder.  One side of the bag uses a rectangle cut from the
front cover, the other a rectangle cut from the vinyl itself.
