Be nice if she actually followed this with "Brown-Eyed Handsome Man"

That is a very good idea.  I have covers by Nina Simone and Paul McCartney.

Ever hear the Waylon Jennings version? -- a Top Ten Country single, and it deletes the verse about Jackie Robinson which is the Whole. F--ing. POINT of the friggin' tune.

Ghost Buster -- again, too cute and Posey asked them to stop playing it at the park. I'd like to bust *his* posey. ;)

WOS2 to this mushmouthed "I Got You (I Feel Good)."

The Giants used this as the theme for their ad campaign in about '87 or '88, but I doubt AL was here then to remember it. But even the cover version they used was better than this one.

Ghostbusters? Not sure I get the reference.

ETA: Ah, OK. You guys were answering my query while I was posting it.

WTF "Ghostbusters"?

Ghost-Buster Posey... geesh
"Bustin' makes me feel good" when Burrell and Zito come up, but that was a stretch.

That ties directly to what I just posted on FB about Kenny Chesney's "Boys of Fall" video, a mash note to high school football that gives voice only to white people.  Country music audiences want what they want, and canny country musicians give it to them.

Again, not aware that "You Dropped a Bomb" actuallly gets played at AT&T park.  This has been rather disappointing so far.

Something from 10CC or Godley and Creme would be nice to commemorate the Bonds era.  Or Maybe Nelly's Pimp Juice

reminds me of certain story lines in the series Friday Night Lights, about Texas HS football.

Haha, most unexpected of set (and thus BOS) to TMBG, "TMBG."

"Bustin' makes me feel good" when Burrell and Zito come up, but that was a stretch.

they used it at AT&T and fans would sing "Go Buster!" ... but he wasn't too keen on it.

BOS "Bye Bye Baby" -- right up there with that Tigers song Dave used to play.

is this TMBG singing "TMBG"? BOS2.

Zito was left off the playoff roster, maybe he can swing by and watch the game with you..

"FUCK YEAH!!!"  uber-BOS3 Timmy!

BOS4 Mr Bennett, just because.

But safe to say AL did not hit one outta the park today.
