WOS for the Easy Listening version of Little Wing.  Derek and the Dominoes woulda been way better.  Zero does a great version too.

Agreed. It does reinvent the original, but in this case it's not a good thing.

It's a '50s soundtrack theme from the film of the same name (I wanna say Dmitri Tiomkin?) This is Mick Ronson, methinks.

My feelings exactly.  This version sucks all the life out of the fabulous original.  And of course, by the "original", I don't mean the original version.  I mean the "Rock and Roll Animal" version.

well, half right: it was Ronson. But the tune is part of a ballet composed by Richard Rodgers -- no relation to the movie, apparently
