"Check out the puss-ah, check out the puss-ah"?   :o

apparently it's "I just say who got the blues say who got the blues"

and here's yer "Penny Lane" -- the rarities version would be a nice touch.

I love when Marvin says "Oooh!" at that one point.  I'm not trying to be willfully obscure, and it's hard to describe the moment, but I'm sure you know it when you hear it.

You mean, right before "My love is alive/ Down in my heart"?  I'm right there with you.

What could make this even more perfect to close?  "Penny Lane"?  "Ballad of You & Me & Pooneil"?  "A Taste of Honey"?  "To Sir With Love"?
You are a winner good sir!

Oh, blessings: BOS11 (!!!) for the second half of the greatest two-sided single ever.

well, no "PL" rarity ending but a Fab Four Twin-Spin. No one, I think, is in AL's tree today -- she's in a class by herself.

And a beautiful ending (?) with the best Byrds-do-Dylan song ever.

seriously?

OK, I have to mention this, I had Ray Parker, Jr's The Other Woman going through my head on Monday or Tuesday.  Not sure if I caught it on the radio or what, and when 1982 came up and you (and swelligant) requested it vi aFB and AL played it, I thought "there is some force at work here."

it's strange when these things happen, especially when you don't believe in that stuff.
