It's to kick off "Local Music Month" -- I guess we're getting local artists from a diff decade every week. Make your suggestions on FB.

I'll miss it all next week. Leaving on tomorrow morning for a work week+ in Denver and then next weekend in Tahoe. Back on the 9th. I was BOLD and bought a ticket for the Tues Aug 3 Rockies vs. Giants game. Best prt of the whole trip. MIGHT try to go to tomorrow nights Rockies vs. Cubs game too if I can get away.  Glad to be working.....can't complain. :)

Wonder if it'll be a different decade featured each day next week, '60's>00's?

It's not clear; I thought one decade every Monday to cover the whole month (there's 5 Mondays in August, so '60s '70s '80s '90s '00s).

I would prefer this over having it done Monday-Friday - spreads the concept out some.

Someone on FB requested an All-Grateful Dead 10@10. I think my head would explode.

Not too many 10@10s devoted to a single artist. The Beatles, of course--several times. And the Bee Gees Listen Without Prejudice set Dave did after Maurice Gibb passed, and a couple for Elvis. And AL did the Santana set for his birthday, and also Neil when the Archives box set came out iirc. But I think that's about it. So if she could do the last two, I could certainly see AL doing one for the Dead. Particularly since right now it's right between the anniversaries of Jerry's birth and his death.
Let's get right to it.

It seemed, when AL took over, that one-artist tributes would be more prevalent -- she did that Neil Young set right off the bat, iirc. Maybe the suits are down on single-artist sets too.
