Stream's working for me now.  The Jimi TOTHK was NTM, as is this kinda-Kinks-ish "left, right, don't get uptight" thing.

wow -- it's Traffic, my friend. a staple back in the day.

oh those wacky Foghead requests -- here's Desmond Dekker in the wrong year (it's from '69, kids)

Love "Israelites," but wrong year: this was a '69 hit.

Hoping for the Turtles' "Elenore."

Desmond
Always a favorite.  I remember years ago we were listening to the Idiot Show and this song came on.  My roommate called in to ask who it was and M. Dung told him; he came back to us and reported that it was "The Deckers"!  We came him a lot of crap when Dung came on and set us straight.  Alcohol was involved.

BOS for George and the boys feeding their sweet tooths, then pulling 'em out.

BOS to George's ode to Eric Clapton's candy addiction.  Love those honking horns and the electric piano.

For a year or so I've had a pipe dream of making a mockumentary based on that album.  Or writing one for the "33 1/3" series of album-based books, if any of you are familiar with those.

The Cowsills "Indian Lake."  Saw them a couple years ago at Alameda County Fair on a bill with some other 60s/70's bands.  Unfortunately, several of the Cowsills met untimely deaths.

Excellent TOTHK w Jimi.  That one is sort of NTM.

Loved the hippie sentiment of Dave Mason's We Can All Join In -- somewhere I have a cassette tap of WNYU's Plastic Tales From the Marshmallow Dimension show that contains a psych band doing a cover of that.

Cowsills "Indian Lake"

Be sure to check out the Fred Weller countrified cover that Mike (TANC) recently linked to (was it here or on FB?).
