or so says AL on FB.  43 comments so far, lots of requests for her to choose from, and I was #43 and yet I was the first to mention Sharon Jones &  the Dap-Kings fab version of "This Land Is Your Land".  Woulda said X's "4th of July" but sundaygal beat me to the punch.  Either one would be swell; if we get both it'll be amazing.

Love, love 4th of July by X - even though it seemed like an obvious choice.  
Good call too with your request - We need some Woody Guthrie goin' on in the mix tomorrow.

indeed, much as I love Ms Ronstadt, the orig is still the best. It's just Chuck & Little Richard still alive from the "Founding Fathers".
