yup, 2nd time in just under a month. One bright Foghead requested "Ode to Billie Joe"...

Me, I suggested Cher "You Better Sit Down Kids" and Frank & Nancy's "Somethin' Stupid".

I *adore* her version of that -- used nicely on the Royal Tenenbaums sndtk (my favorite movie of the last 10 years). Amazing to think it's from '67 -- Jackson Browne was 19 then!

BTW another Foghead also requested "To Sir With Love"... which we also heard on June 3rd.

well, it's '67 so it'll be a short one. And we open with... the BBs, darlin'.  expecting a 10-way tie today.

It charted in 1/68 (they recorded it 10/27/67), and was on their "Wild Honey" LP 12/67, so its on the cusp.

technically, released as a single in Dec '67. But I'd call it a '68 hit.

That FB Foghead finally gets his "All You Need is Love"! there's nothin' you can request that can't be requested.

and nothin' you can twin-spin that can't be twin-spun: one of my fave Beatle B-sides, "Baby"!
