The Return of Lesley Gore

Ms. California Nights, Sunshine, Lollipops, Rainbows, and Punched-Out Judys has a new album coming out 6/28 and is playing at Joe's Pub in NYC that night.  I'm previewing the show for the Voice, so I thought I'd call it to your attention.  She's lost the high end of her voice, it seems, and her claim to being "the original riot grrrl" is more than a little specious, but here ya go:
