Dave spilled it before the pre-set commercials.
Let's get right to it.

yay! one of my fave years musically (and most memorable emotionally, tho' not all good).

BOS Paul, "Was A Sunny Day"! Been a LONG time since Dave played this.

BOS Paul, "Was A Sunny Day"! Been a LONG time sine Dave played this.

Sounds like Linda McCartney on the backing vocals, which would be baffling on many, many levels if it were the case.

I'll give it at least a VHM--from Paul Simon's Hispanic period (see also Me and Julio Down By the Schoolyard).  A great start in any case.

And what trip to '73 would be complete without a visit to Yellow Brick Road?

Sigh.  "Saturday Night" is one of my least-favorite tracks off GYBR, along with "Jamaican Jerk-Off" and "Your Sister Can't Twist."  Would have much rather heard "Grey Seal" or "Danny Bailey," the latter of which may be the only GYBR track Dave hasn't played on 10@10.

I don't know the artists or title, but I really like this song... BOS

I don't believe he's ever played "Your Sister" OR "Jerk-Off" either. I'd've remembered -- those didn't even get airplay when the LP was hot hot hot.

BOS, "The World Is a Ghetto."

Bob made the comment a week or two ago that part of what makes War interesting is that no two of their hits sound much a like.  I see a lot of truth in that.

BOS2, "I'm Just a Singer in a Rock & Roll Band."  Even more snarky than "The Story in Your Eyes," which I like.
