OMGWTF: Jeff Beck's cover of "Superstition" -- or is this Beck, Bogert & Appice? memory hazy, The Peak "just played" thingy is also unclear. But still, amazing that this cover came out less than a year after Stevie's orig. BOSFRA.

I've been wondering if some of the various 10@10 jocks aren't comparing notes with one another?
Let's get right to it.

there have been a LOT of TANC moments lately -- of course The Sound and The Drive have the same owners so clearly the LA folks were probably persuaded to copy the Chicago version rather closely (same announcer and sound bites on both stations etc).

Listening again on the replay -- Beck mondegreens "Ladder 'bout to fall" into "love's about to fall". Never noticed that before. Er, Mr Beck, the song's called "Superstition" for a reason...

and speaking of odd lyrics, here's Broooce, "Spirit in the Night": "we danced all night/to a soul fairy's band". So, Little Richard was playing at some bar in the middle of nowhere?
