Managed to hear that and the backsell, and that's about it for me today. Glad AL liked my request, that's always been pretty much my favorite latter-day Ramones song, partly because it *doesn't* sound like any other song of theirs. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

I'm a little ambivalent about the audience participation component that the FB page has brought to 10@10. She's played a few songs that I've asked for, so that's cool but being able to see what people are asking for--and just knowing the year/theme a day ahead of time pretty much every day--takes away the surprise factor, which I always enjoyed immensely. I will say however, that the requests that get taken are generally pretty cool songs, not the run-of-the-mill foghead stuff.

Absolutely right, and that's the other side of my ambivalence--it *is* pretty neat to toss out the name of a song or a band, and have it pop up in the next day's set.
