I liked "Remedy" when it first came out, but I don't think it holds up.  But they get credit for being the last boogie rock band.

the inevitable Twin Peaks clip. Bad show, worse movie.

VHM "Blood makes Noise" -- Ms Vega trying to stretch, a tad.

Yesterday was the 20th anniversary of the first Twin Peaks TV episode.  Also my brother Chris' 21st anniversary.

BOS Ren & Stimpy!!!
So I dig Ren and Stimpy, but who's doing those bits?  Not the original dudes.

I'll give another HM for Black Crowes.  They sure sounded fresh when they came out.

OK, this is Ren & Stimpy overkill now.
I don't think you're happy enough.

Tempted to BOS the Black Crowes' Remedy, when they were still trying to fill the Stones/Aerosmith niche, before they got all jammy on us.
Let's get right to it.

Ren & Stimpy.  I was in grade school during this and this is what all the kids were watching.  The teachers, on the other hand, tried to discourage us, saying things like "this is one of most offensive cartoons ever."  LOL!

HM to Black Crowes for being a song that isn't She Talks to Angels.

As I recall, one of the orig guys quit/was replaced in a contractual dispute.

WOS: overfed throwaway grunge on "I Nearly Lost You."

Have to disagree with you on your characterization, Screaming Trees '92 release Uncle Anesthesia was their fifth album, and all the other Seattle bands were trying to be like them, not the other way around, and the Grunge term wasn't applied to them until this song showed up on the Singles soundtrack.

Exactly! :)  I'd seen it a few times before and personally didn't see the appeal, but I made sure to watch it a few times after they said that. :P

That's true, but it was John K, the voice of Ren.  Stimpy continued to be voiced by Billy Mumy of "Lost In Space" fame.  And this ain't him, so says I.

And a real BOS for Lyle Lovett, who sounds like he's from a whole nother universe than the rest of what was on the radio.

BOS3 @ Lyle Lovett.  Was mighty good at Hardly Strictly Bluegrass last year.

was that Billy West?    he did GREAT voices, and did an extended stint on The Howard Stern show.
