I'm sure you young folk know which Parliament/Funkadelic tune this is!

I knew aging deadheads had fried brains, but... jeezus. ;) (it's "Tear the Roof Off the Sucker" BTW)

P-Funk was my first concert.. 1978!

Now that's a pretty good one to pop your cherry with--I'm impressed.
Let's get right to it.

it's simply music listened to at parties of people younger than me.  I have all kinds of respect for George, just don't know the titles of his tunes, nor which (P or F) version the band is.

BOS2 "What Can I Say?"

And Geoff, I'm with you in that I can't distinguish Parliament from Funkadelic.

Who is this?  Keyboards reminds me of the Go-Gos.  Voice reminds me of Chrissie Hynde.

Yes, I have to thank those older kids who convinced me to go.

I gotta tell you, while it was happening, I was a bit skeered: I was a little sheltered white kid from the burbs and the audience was at least 90% black.  And everyone smokin' dey weed and shit...   But I remember some dude in an orange diaper.

Funny girl-group intro for the Blondie tune.  Didn't know they went back that far.

And HM for Farrah Fawcett and John Forsythe.

What a magnificent segue - kudos, AL!
