BOS3 Bangles doing Prince, muscially speaking.

But it's a nice image, just the same.

er... ewww.  Now the Bangles doing the Go-Gos would be another story.

So is "Michael Steele" the bangles' bass player's real name?  haven't been able to find anything on the net about this...

OMG - BOS to David & David!  Haven't heard this in forever (Did Dave play this? I know he played Ain't So Eary a few times) but LOVE this entire album.

Yep, but not since 2005.

Not bad, for '86. BOS for the Simon, Smiths & Smithereens.
Let's get right to it.

I think so. She was living in the Bay area awhile back, but we're talking mid 90s to early 00s. I saw her once at a Posies show at Bottom of the Hill.

BOS2 Bizarre Love Triangle!  About time this gets played on 10@10.

I remember the first time I heard this...way back on Open House Party with John Garabedian  :o  I had to AltaVista (I don't think google was around then, or at least not popular) the lyrics and find the MP3.  This was during the time when I hated anything that wasn't current (mid-90's), but it turned out to be the first '80s song I liked.  The next one (Don't You Forget About Me) wouldn't come for a few more years.

BOS2 to New Order, though the rerelease of BL/\ was more contextual for me (it was a college favorite in the early '90s for me and my friends).

it was re-released?  Or are you thinking of the cover by Frente?

Mike, not sure if you changed your avatar or what, but if not, your animated Stephen Colbert avatar has been blocked.

Yeah, it was rereleased slightly before the Frente version (I think...and I can't believe the Frente version made the Top 40 but neither of New Order's did  >:()

A remix was released (and barely charted) in '93 or '94.  But I like the Frente! cover too.

The notion that $50,000 a year will buy a lot of beer now seems rather cruel.
