Two of the oldest people in the U.S. died on the same day.  Mary Josephine Ray, 114 years, 294 days, died in N.H. just hours before Daisey Bailey of Detroit, who was 113 years, 342 days.  God bless 'em!

Clarification: I think the article says that "two of the oldest people in the US died on that day. The first one (Mary Ray) was the oldest person, but the woman who succeeded her as the oldest is older than the second one who died, Daisy Bailey.

I imagine most people here are around. To live that long, you would double your current age plus an additional 13-14 years!!
