so, where have we not gone lately?

No guesses. I don't have the sense of what's due that I did when Dave was doing the sets. He was much more predictable.
Let's get right to it.

well, it's '89: please make it bearable, AL.  Was/Not Was? Neneh Cherry? Kon Kan? those would be my '89 wish-list.

VHM the Big O to start.

Come on, AL, let's kiss these 'Trinas goodbye.   Rob did '95 on the Peak today and we got Del Amitri there too.

What you said.

BOS for XTC and "King for a Day".  Nice stereo in the headphones.

Most 'meh' of set: Kiss This Thing Goodbye. I always associate this with 91 or 92, when AAA really started to take hold, but it's in the DB twice in '89, so guessing it was released that year.

Ah, here's an enthusiastic BOS candidate: XTC, King For a Day. Just one appearance previously (in 2006) so a solid rarity.
Let's get right to it.

Another BOS candidate: Westaboig and the 'Mats, dreamin' they were Surfer Joe. Not their best, but catchy nonetheless.

It's BOSes back to back!
Let's get right to it.

BOS to Bob Mould, "See a Little Light."  I adored this when it came out; it got regular spins on MTV's 120 Minutes.

OMFG! I believe this is Bob Mould--not quite raw enough for Husker Du. Can't name the song though.

Make that BOSes back to back to back!
Let's get right to it.

More Moreytrina-ness: Chris Rea channelling Knopfler.

I'll give it a VHM for rarity -- this was ignored by NYC alt-radio at the time; dunno why.
