Per the Shraytabase, New Order is listed with only one song (True Faith, in '87) and Echo & the Bunnymen don't appear at all. I am aghast.

I am too, but again, it hasn't been updated since AL's ascendence to the throne; she played "Lips Like Sugar" iirc.

More NW: an ATBB (?) from REM.

Seems to be. Not in the Shraytabase.
Let's get right to it.

Marshall Crenshaw played the Hardly Strictly this past fall (his set preceded Robyn Hitchcock, and then we got Billy Bragg!)

BOS to him just b/c that was such a lovely day -- not a bad song either.

VHM Tom Cruise when he was sane.

New Wave overkill!  Nobody walks on 10@10.

VHM Heaven 17's "Let Me Go," which I haven't heard in at least 5 years.

Big BOS5 from me -- this LP was one of my faves of that genre and they deserved to be bigger -- "Fascist Groove Thing", anyone?  This seems to be some sort of club remix.

AAAACK! Styx's "modrin" pseudo-New Wavery gets an obvious WOS.  Kil-roy! KEEEL-roy!

YES!  Finally, a BOS I can enthuse about: Adam Ant (and the press men, with their pen knives - cute line, that).
