HM to Twin Peaks, despite not caring that much about it when it went REALLY far astray into the weirdness of David Lynch.  I was sucked in and was hoping for a resolution based in reality.  I guess a crime drama , as it were.  The Supernatural and Time Travel are two devices that seem like cop-outs when used to justify plots.

They have a couple songs I like. Jane Says is one, despite it being everywhere and only two chords, etc.  I also like Pets

I think I'll proxy shray for them, since he had some good experiences with the band back in his Rock N Roll chauffeur days.

ETA
: Correx: Pets is by Porno for Pyros, not Jane's Addiciton.  But is there a difference?

listening to the Saturday morning replay, woke up in time to hear most of this one.

Mike, how did you not know about the Pixies in 1990?

Thanks for the proxy on Jane's Addiction.

Couple of cute segues no one commented on...
...Barking sea lions in SF harbor into the barking dogs in "Been Caught Stealing"
...The Super Bowl XXIV clip from the Niners "team of the decade" years into "Way Down Now".

glad this one lead off, so I can hear the rest in their entirety.

Pixies were another band that our NYC alt-rock station (not to mention the mainstream ones) ignored. I was aware of their existence from reading reviews, but as far as airplay, nada.

I was glad AL lead with 1990 today too, for the opposite reason  ;) Woke up to hear the tail end of World Party.
