Hard to believe it, but HWNN is nearly a bustout, only one appearance in a theme set prior to this.  At least the 3rd one-timer in this set.

and now a Neil soundalike: America.  People actually thought this was a heroin metaphor.

Hey, if James Taylor could be a junkie, why not these guys? Although if they were, you'd have to assume they'd be a little more discreet about it.
Let's get right to it.

"Never. No. No. Yeah." make up yer mind, homes!

Would have been a jinx in intent if not wording, had I not been on the phone.  VHMs to Malo and 'Murrica.

Sorry, but AL sounded more like a Christopher Street drag queen saying, "Oh, gurl."

OMGWTFLOL to the "Nixon Now" campaign song.

Wow, he really had some hackneyed campaign jingles, no?

I was listening to an old '72 set last night, which included a different but equally smarmy Nixon ad, the lyrics of which went something like this:

Richard Nixon is the man
He'll do everything he can
To bring peace to our land
Through the guiding of god's hand

See, the fundies were throwing the almighty's name around even then.
Let's get right to it.

Run! Run! Run! Gunne! Gunne! Gunne!

proxy of GazWOS, iirc.

Nah, I think the song's silly (only one-line verses?) but not a WOS.

reminds me of Wishbone Ash and/or Savoy Brown...

Best segue of the day: Florida and Maude sparring, into A Man Needs a Maid.

listening again to the set: Did you notice Florida was singing Zip A Dee Doo Dah from Disney's Song Of The South in that clip?

Yep, that's what got me snickering at first, and it just got funnier from there.
