There's a link on the Sound's 10@10 page soliciting suggestions for a "misheard lyrics" set for this Friday.

Surprisingly, no one's suggested Purple Haze yet.
Let's get right to it.

But it lead things off nonetheless...

Purple Haze - Jimi Hendrix
Panama - Van Halen
Rock the Casbah - The Clash
Bohemian Rhapsody - Queen
Lucy in The Sky - Beatles
Bennie & The Jets - Elton John
Beast of Burden - Rolling Stones
Bad Moon Rising - CCR
Smells Like Teen Spirit - Nirvana
Blinded By the Light - Manfred Mann
You spin me right 'round, baby, right 'round

I'm gonna suppose that PH was a given when they discussed this on air & we missed it.

Can someone help me out with an obvious mondegreen from "Panama"?  I don't get it.
