WOS Styx, channelling the Cars.

It's a Bob Stroud 1981 set so far.

WOS: Rush channeling Rush.

now there's a bass player who can sing!   :)

she's a bad superfreaky mamma jamma.  VHM Slick Rick; I've heard this one a few too many times to get excited about it.

Unexcited sentiment jinx.  And a mondegreen I didn't know about.  I thought the background line after
"in a limousine"

was

"long and black and shiny, yeah"

which is great, I think, but it's actually

"going back in Chinatown"

apparently.

Mike Reno's on his knees, making love to whoever he please.  Are those red leather pants padded in the knees?

... and right around the corner from Buffalo, we have Toronto, featuring Loverboy!  (and Rush)

I guessing this is the official end of the AL streak.

we discussed this here recently when it showed up in those Visa ads -- they use the "Chinatown" line and I was dumbfounded first time I heard that. I always heard it as "long & black & shiny" too.

I looked it up.  It's Iggy Pop; I'm much more familiar with David Bowie's version.

I thought it was Bauhaus for a minute.

what was that movie clip earlier?  sounded like Bruce Dern to me, but I'm not placing it in a movie.
Wasn't it "Raiders of the Last Ark"?  (Harrison Ford) (Or was there more than one?)

I think you were right, and my ears were deceiving me.

This "Bang Bang" thing is NTM ... and WOS3 after the Rush and Leatherboy.
