Courtesy of AT&T, or whatever they're called now.

Incidentally I've been watching SNL Season 5 online, which is appropriate for this set.

wow, is the stream nearly 2 mins behind the radio?

JJ sells some Taco Bell to start -- BOS "One More Time".  (AL sez "one of the best debut alums of all time!")

Apparently so - I'm doing this from the comfort from home, where I'm listening to 10@10 on this old-fashioned device called a radio. Advice: If you want to lose 5 pounds over Thanksgiving Weekend, get the flu! And it will keep you away from the crowds.

It's cruel to Katrina -- esp on a Moday morning.  But I'm hoping this is another of AL's New Wave-centric '79 sets

Was that Steve Martin?

Speaking of SNL - Rickie Lee Jones performed this song on the show during Season 4. Is this the first time it's been played on 10@10?

Yup, from The Jerk, I do believe.  But you need to install some analog delay in your posts, since your message showed up in the middle of Cruel to Be Kind, for me.

"Chuck E." still sounds great to me.  HM for the very silly "Fins".  I wonder if this is Huey Lewis on the harmonica.  This could be a Huey song.

Chucky's in LOVE!

VHM Mr Parrothead -- yeah, he was milking it at this point, but I still like his they-all-kinda-sound-alike ditties from this period.

Hard to give JJ a BOS for that Taco Bell ad, but I'm gonna anyway, if only because of Annalisa's comment about "one of the best debut albums of all time."

and a WOS, even though y'all know I loves my Buffett, to my least favorite song in his catalog.

HM for the very silly "Fins".

"She feels like a remora" -- one of the more obscure references ever to make the Top 40.

BOS2 Madness -- "One Step Beyooooooooooooooond"!

Ouch, sorry to hear!  Hope you're feeling better today!

Off to work, but BOS to Madness.  Hope you all are feeling pleasantly stuffed.
