Wow, this *def* sounds like my 1980. BOS1 Genesis, Behind the Lines, from their last decent album.

I'd argue 2nd to last decent album, but will second the BOS.

BOS #2 for Devo!

What would you say their last decent one was?
Let's get right to it.

Big year for nerd/geek/alien rock.  another BOS to B52s.

Will chk the DB later, but wonder if we've ever heard Dance This Mess Around on 10 at 10?  That's one of my faves.

I bet it's ABACAB.   The album called Genesis was pretty good...

I'd guess "no" for reasons stated above.

Dave played four different Devo songs between '03 and '08, but Whip It was by far the most common. Workin' In a Coal Mine was second, while Girl U Want had two plays and Freedom of Choice just one.

WOS Kenny Loggins, but VHM for the gopher.
Let's get right to it.

WOS Kenny Loggins, one of the more inexplicably beloved songs I can think of.

actually the girl they wanted was Sharona - this was a deliberate songwriting attempt to be like The Knack.

and yes, Danny & Donna are still married.  Anyone interested in some good Aykroyd anecdotes should find Tom Davis' (as in 'Franken and ___') recent autobiography, 39 Years of Short Term Memory Loss.  In addition to all the expected dish on SNL & Franken, turns out he was best friends w/Aykroyd & they had all kinds of globe-trotting adventures.  Plus Davis was apparently very tight with both Timothy Leary & Jerry Garcia. A very humorous read in a surprisingly understated writing style.

Aww...no love for Invisible Touch? :( ;)

That's my fav. album of theirs, I can dig this one though, I'll VHM it.
