Oh c'mon, "Let's Go" is good clean fun.

There seems to be a lot of Cars bashing around here, and I just wonder what the rap is against them.  I remember a time when I had to take the MUNI a lot, and listened to them and Hall and Oates a lot on a Walkman.  Very cool headphone music as far as I was concerned.
Don't stand in the way of LOVE!

Smooth 'n' jazziest of set: Angela Bofill, "I Try".

second song with nice sax work, but I coudn't find a sax credit for Ian Gomm.  In this case it was the great jazz clarinetist Eddie Daniels on tenor sax.

can't remember if I have Gomm With The Wind at home -- I'll check tonite.

It ain't a Monday '79 set without "I Don't Like Mondays". A Katrina, I suppose, but VHM to Sir Bob anyway.

Belated POC BOS proxy to Roxy & her fave TSV. Is she gonna be offline again for awhile--I didn't get a chance to ask her travel plans when we were talking on Sat.
Let's get right to it.

I was being a bit facetious, but they're one of the most-played groups in the entire 10@10 oeuvre, right up there with ELO. I was bemoaning their inevitability if anything.  I wish H&O got played as much -- they had lots of hits Dave's never played.

Dave was complaining about having it being Monday "...and I'm really feeling it" in the 8 o'clock hour.

An HM for me as well, with props to Burton Averre for one of the better three-note guitar solos ever.
