I reqested it from Dave for "Strictly Instrumental" and never got it; requested it again from AL for her "Wordless Wednesday" and so I'd like to think she filed it away for future ref.

And sadly it wouldn't qualify for "chartbusters" since it never made the Top 40, iirc. I wanna say it was actually from '82, tho'...

I stand corrected--checked thru the two other 83 sets since AL took the reins, and no Rockit. But AMG sez it was released in '83, and all chart action is dated the same (#71 on the Hot 100, but #6 on the R&B Singles chart).

I think it was the standard, album mix. I don't remember anything that caught my ear about it.
