Danny Elfman is spooky --  This is Halloween!

We're going to see this movie (Nightmare before Chrismas) at the Castro tonight!  in 3D!

So long as he didn't call "no copy-catters" on the standard Halloween setlist, I imagine we'll hear a lot of the usual suspects regardless of what the set is called. Although I'm anxious to hear what new twists AL puts on this old chestnut.
Let's get right to it.

Thought I'd share this pic with you. POssibly the best Halloween house decorations ever:

Supposedly small children were afraid to approach because they thought the house would eat them.

ETA: Well, that didn't work. The blog page it came from is here:

Always good to hear Screamin' Jay.  Don't sit in the first two rows when he says "SSSPell".

BOS3 Bowie.

But I must quibble by saying Scream is (IMHO) one of the most overrated movies of the last 15 years.

BOS Ministry.  Second time I've heard Halloween (Is Everyday) today.  First was on KUSF when Jet closed out her 6-9 deejay slot.

so what phrases has Dave copyrighted?

"Spook-tacular" is used by car dealerships and hardware stores all over the nation to advertise their scary prices!

Butters is great.

easily my favorite SP character -- amazing how many different failed attempts they made to add a fifth character (Token, Tweek, etc) before stumbling upon Butters.

so what phrases has Dave copyrighted?

none. just a snarky reference to the AL switch from "Vertical tasting" to "Chartbusters".

I'm hoping we might get Roky Erickson's "I walked With a Zombie" -- if anyone might play that one, it's AL.

this one is NTM, but I'm trying to figure out how you can "burn the flames..."

are flames flammable?
