Was that Chevy in Foul Play or Caddyshack? I think Caddyshack was 1980, but I thought Foul Play was 1976
Fletch?
I think you've got it right.  It sounded like Goldie Hawn, but it was that other cute blonde.

No this was definitely Foul Play, and it was in 1978.  Got an Oscar nom for Best Song.  Anybody care to guess?

we went over that a few weeks back during a Klassic Kasem from '78. So I won't give it away.

I've forgotten what it was... is it by an English person?

I just Googled Foul Play Soundtrack, and still can't pick which song it would have been. Staying Alive came up as a song in the movie??

nope, Fletch didn't come out until 1985.
OK, I'm really over my quota for major actress identification blunders.

Regarding the Joe Walsh and it's trina status, this doesn't feel overplayed to me at all.  I can't remember hearing it.

Dave definitely played it, but not exactly enough to become a Katrina: 4 times between 2002 and 2007. Exile was more of a Katrina than Joe.

Meanwhile, nice shoutout to EC and his gallstones.

this is proof that a "Katrina" is sometimes only in the mind of the keyboarder.  If you feel you hear a song too much, it's your own personal Katrina.

I wouldn't have guessed, though I knew it was a wimpy song.  I couldn't get "When You Get Caught Between the Moon and New York City" by Cristopher Cross out of my head, but that's the theme from Arthur.

I think he means that he's surprised to see "Staying Alive" on the Foul Play soundtrack, not on the SNF soundtrack.  I was surprised too.  And also that the Oscar nom didn't go to "Copacabana" either.

Hmmm, just what sort of cigarette is Mr. Manilow smoking there? Whichever it is, it can't be good for his vocal cords.
Let's get right to it.

ETA: and a shoutout to Ellen Greene, at least in the video

But it's Ellen Foley singing, right?

actually I think you're right.  Ellen Foley was on Night Court, Ellen Greene was in Little Shop of Horrors.
Ellen Foley was hot, if not as hot as Mshray's avatar!
