Oh no no no no!  Did you hear that?  It's a Dave 10at10 with Dave completely excised.  This is evil.

I'm not looking forward to the expurgated wrap-up.

ah, the one with the rare Chicago track "In Terms of Two".

Last week's D&D classic had Dave excised at the beginning too -- and appraently they screwed up at the end and forgot to edit him out (but did so on the replays).

I didn't recognize it til I saw the setlist, but this was the set they used for Dave's final "farewell" at the end of May. Originally aired Nov. 16, 06.
Let's get right to it.

I see.  So my rage is old news; I didn't hear it last week.  Oh well.

proxy of geoff: jackson Browne.

BOS Gunhill Road.

if they've edited the ending, it should be rather abrupt, iirc. Dave gushed over Gladys as he often does.

Of course, I can't complain about 1973, and certainly not about a set that contains Bodhisattva.  I'm going to see the All-Request Steely Dan show tonight.  So there's that.

BOS2, Gun Hill Road. Dave was the only one who ever played this.

Ah, here's another reason for this set: the Steely Dan connection.

Speaking of which, anyone talked to the Princess since she landed in the bay area?

AAAAAACK! Bobby G loses his cherry twice in one week.  "julep/two lips" is one of the more unforgiveable rhymes in pop history.

Tragically, Scott waited until the last day to vote, and it was too late.  It was fun making the list though.  I'll post it here:
20. The Caves of Altamira
19. Midnight Cruiser
18. Time Out of Mind
17. Turn That Heartbeat Over Again
16. Deacon Blues
15. Don't Take Me Alive
14. Rikki Don't Lose That Number
13. Bad Sneakers
12. Do It Again
11. Any Major Dude Will Tell You
10. Here at the Western World
 9. FM
 8. Josie
 7. Haitian Divorce
 6. My Old School
 5. Kid Charlemagne
 4. East St. Louis Toodle-Oo
 3. Your Gold Teeth
 2. King of the World
 1. Dr. Wu

I voted first and we alternated (starting at the bottom).

Another reason this set was notable: the only appearance in the DB of Summer (The First Time). '73 (or the mid-70s in general) was really rife with these story-song things, wasn't it?
Let's get right to it.
