Wow, this set sure took a dive in a hurry. WOS2 Jason Mraz duetting with what sounds like Leslie Feist. I can almost hear Mike screaming in agony from here.

(Disclaimer: I did not recognize this as being Mraz. The player tipped me off.)

Sodden thought: I wonder if AL is tyin' the knot with her sweetie this weekend or something?

I know Mike's stuffed his fingers in his ears, but Mraz and Callait's "Lucky" is a really pretty song.  Stunned that it only made it to #50 a few months ago.

I think I might throw up if this continues.

BOS for the impressive clergyman in "Princess Bride"!  And when we got married, we made three tapes to play after the ceremony.  Nick Lowe was on there, so honorary BOS.  This was actually the only marriage-oriented song, actually.  It mostly included our favorite songs like "Everybody's Everything", "Hard to Handle" and "Under the Sea".  Heh.

Ack! Of course, we get I Knew The Bride--but why'd it have to be the cheezy Huey Lewis-produced version? There are so many better ones out there.

I didn't know this was Huey-produced, though it sure does sound it.  Is he playing the harmonica on there?

Not really enjoying this all too much.  But BOS to the Pretenders, HM to Stevie and "I Knew the Bride When..."

My suggestions would have been LZ, "Thank You" and J. Geils "I Do", both of which were featured at weddings of my freinds.  "I Do" made a particularly festive recessional.

Looks like I guessed right. When I e-mailed my BOS vote, I asked AL if there were some personal significance to the topic of today's set and got this response:

Yup...I'm flying off to MA to take the plunge...get the old ball and chain..and whatever else they say:)
Who'da thunk it? Actually, Renee's hubby and my soon to be were school friends and she pretty much played matchmaker on this one so, we're excited and happy that the intense long distance wedding planning and craziness will soon melt into fun and laughter and even a lil honeymoon off Cape Cod.
I'll be back in 2 weeks...expect to hear a couple classic 10@10's in the mix from our dear Dave and Don days and some "encores" from the not so distant past, too.
