How'd she come up with this theme? Touching, but kinda weak on its face. Hoping for surprises.
Let's get right to it.

My bitterness at being an old maid may keep me from enduring this whole set.

There's a great Depeche Mode song that fits this theme, but the title is escaping me.

I'd also nominate Badfinger "Day After Day", which my brother Joel used at his wedding.

Gotta run to take my kid on a field trip.  Have a great weekend everybody!

BOS's to Pretenders & Roxy Music.

BOS for Roxy!  I'm thinking Tinka will be enjoying this one.

Well, this is a bit of an improvement. BOS1 Roxy, More Than This.

(Aside: Anyone able to explain the audible whimpering in the middle of You Are the Sunshine of My Life?)

Other nontraditional suggestions:

Talking Heads, "This Must Be the Place" (used by my friends Dave* and Bec)
Dorothy Moore, "I Believe You"
Association, "Never My Love"

Will we get Stookey's "Wedding Song" again?

PS: WOS to that stupid-ass JT cover

I notice that every time and have always wondered about it.  Without reason, I've assumed it was Stevie stifling a giggle.

forecast calls for partially cheezy skies songs

Right on cue, here's JT. WOS so far.

My no-brainer predictions would be for Wouldn't It Be Nice, and When I'm 64. But I would not be bummed to not hear either one--hoping for less obvious selections.

I know Mike's stuffed his fingers in his ears, but Mraz and Callait's "Lucky" is a really pretty song.  Stunned that it only made it to #50 a few months ago.
