Blubberboy put on a good show back in the day. Saw them in 82 as a matter of fact, and they were on a bill w Iron Maiden, The Nooge and Foreigner.

And Neil Young knows a town in North Ontario, but that's not exactly Nova Scotia.

And there's "Mushaboom" by Feist, which is a town in Nova Scotia, I think.  Probably still not what you're thinking of.
