9/04 -Work (Labor Day)
==================
Working at the Car Wash Blues - Jim Croce
A Hard Day's Night - Beatles
Taking Care of Business - BTO
Working for a Living - Huey Lewis
Blue Collar Man - Styx
Sixteen Tons - Tennessee Ernie Ford
Bang the Drum - Todd Rudgren
Salt of the Earth - Rolling Stones
Take This Job & Shove It - Johnny Paycheck
Working Man - Rush

not bad...  Tennessee Ernie Ford, Croce, RUSH!

also, rare-ish Stones   (TANC: I mentioned another cut  from Beggars' Banquet -- Jigsaw Puzzle -- on today's KFOG board ... must be a sign that I should listen to that disc soon.)

assuming that AL will do a "Labor" set Monday, that will include some of those and a few that Dave used to feature (like "Union Man"). I'll have to dig out my tape of his set, it's one of his all-time best IMHO, not least for its political content.
