play-by play for Gaz:

nice start with "Hot Fun in the Summertime", followed by Janis, "Try" -- always nice to hear one of the lesser-played Joplin tracks.

And great horn charts on both.

Must of started a bit early?  I forgot to turn on my radio, first thing this morning, but it was only 10:05 when I tuned in and song 3 was playing already.

Not a fave LZ song, but still pretty good.  Great guitar solo saves the day.  Bonzo's over-zealous symbol bashing is irritating, though.

This Moby Grape tune always gives me a smile.  Anybody know why it's called "Omaha"?

Damn, am I completely confused?  (See above)

OK, I looked it up, and indeed I was confoosed.  "Omaha" is the "Listen my friends" song.  Maybe Dave could play that to get me out of trouble.

BTW, this Iron Butterfly song....no.

that's what I thought; Davefish says Moby Grape. Similar lead voice in any case.

But to my over-the-air ears, it hadn't started yet when he posted that--the Rascals song was still on. I thought that was what he was saying was MG.

ETA: Never mind. I see this had been cleared up before I posted this.
