Sandman is pretty much a Katrina by now.  But this "Room with a View" is NTM.

Dunno who this is in the '00s  -- making it the 2nd WTF? of the day. This set was hardly predictable.

no, but I didn't expect you to call this set disappointing. I'm usually Mr Crankypants and I was surprised we didn't get Journey or Huey.

Wow, the obscurities were the Mojo Men and Imperial Teen -- hope AL gives us IT's "You're One" in a future set.

I was listening in the car  up thru the Translator tune, but had to tune out when we got to the airport (not departing yet, was picking up some arriving family members). Dug the 60s & 70s tunes fo' sho', including the faux pas in WPOD (ssshhhh, you don't wanna get AL in trouble now, do ya?)  Wish I'd heard the Imperial Teen tune--really liked their first record. They were a side project of Roddy Bottum (kybd player from Faith No More) and Lynn Perko (drummer from Sister Double Happiness) and a couple of others I'm blanking on. Don't know if they ever got much play outside CA.

listening to replay on my clock radio: the Sly & Family Stone Everyday People seemed only "half there" like I was hearing just one channel.  Is this a mix I'm not used to?   For instance, I didn't hear the refrain "There is a yellow one that won't accept the black one.." etc. at all.  weird.

I was hearing/thinking the same thing. Either a one-channel or an official alternate mix.
