bonus track was all about the chick rockers

"Fill in the last name of this woman artist who was big in 88: Tracy ___________."

Chapman, natch.   She also mentioned Melissa _________ and Michelle ________ (Etheridge and Chocked) as other choices she was thinking of.

AL likes her independent unconventional ladies!

the weiner chose a Melissa Etheridge song that was pretty good, forgot the name, bu tit had a heartful of soul and soulful of heart.

not the first time I've done that sort of thing.  My fave is the time I tried to type "Got it" and ... well, you know how THAT came out.

either way, radical347 will be happier than the rest of us.

OMFG: our TOTHK is a HFH -- Bobby McFerrin. Yikes.

Bobby McFerrin did the worst National Anthem ever at AT&T (SBC/Pac Bell) Park.

And this set is a "meh" to me.

WOS the Moodies, well past their sell-by date in '88.

Lol, I haven't heard this but I'm diggin' it, so I'm VHMn' it.  For some reason I like bands that release songs way after their "sell-by date". (i.e. Tears for Fears's CD from earlier this decade.

You mean Everyone Loves a Happy Ending?  I dug that too!  Glad someone else heard it.

This is a good idea: Someday I'll do a list of great after-the-fame-has-gone albums.
“The choir of children sing their song.  They've practiced all year long.  Ding dong.  Ding dong.  Ding dong.”

I'm on there - Joseph McCombs, if you don't know my real name.  (I don't know yours.)

With one notable exception, a pretty damn good set.

WOS by far though is Bobby M. Never liked it, don't like it now, never will.
