AL's getting funky.   wasn't the consensus last week that she sort of missed some chances to inject some R&B and Soul into her sets?

indeed -- somebody musta told her that soul's been lacking, relative to Dave's sets, despite the mostly stellar job she's been doing.  Is this gonna be an all-soul set? she really does approach her years thematically.

ETA: this is her 2nd '74 set this month -- last one was a little over 2 weeks ago, on the 6th. Odd, considering the 2-month rotation we've been on.

our long national nightmare is over again.

from soul ...to the incredibly white stylings of 3DN.  And one of theirs that Dave didn't play very often.

ETA: the Sound appears to be doing '92 or '3

yes, mainstream, but there's a reason it was popular:  even white boys in the 'burbs could shake their bony butts to it.

agree: BOS2 for Alex Chilton and that other guy and the other two guys in the band.
