RIP Ed Gallagher

"Ed who?"

He was a football player at Pitt who couldn't come to terms with his sexuality and attempted suicide in 1985.  The attempt failed, leaving him paralyzed; from those ashes, he recovered to become an important speaker on suicide prevention and gays-in-sports issues.
