The list of non-repeat choices is dwindling...

1972
1983
1986
1988
1996
1998

But we've had repeat visits to '66 and '69 two of the last three days, so those remaining years may just get dropped in piecemeal whenever AL gets the urge. I'm not expecting to hear any of those in the immediate future.

And now that I've said that, it almost guarantees that we will get one of them today. ;)
Let's get right to it.

rotation-wise, there's probably no chance of hearing '60/'61/'62/'63 as stand-alone years, so in order to continue the weekly pattern, AL has had to repeat in the '60s, and do a '60s VT as well.

The Future's So Bright...

BOS 1 & 2 for Bangles & Timbuk3

This is how 1986 sounded to me.  In fact both these are on a mix tape I still have from that year.

Will this be the day I finally get to hear "Let's Go All The Way"?

World, shut your pie-hole.  But this is an '87 song, no?  (the late '80s are a blur).

Yep, this was a pretty big Katrina in 1987, but Dave never played it in '86.

In fact the album titled World Shut Your Mouth came out in 1984, but it lacked a title track.  Then an EP came out in 1986 with this song.

Meanwhile, Sledgehammer was one of the biggest hits of '86, but it's only shown up twice in the Dave era of the DB.
Let's get right to it.

and old farts have to Google to find out it's probably by someone named Julian Cope.
