Wow, "Make Your Own Kind of Music" has a very Partridge Family sorta sound to it, although this was at least a year or two before the Partridges debuted. Was Wes Farrell connected to her in any way?

It's a Mann & Weill composition (they also wrote her "It's Getting Better"), and produced by Steve Barri. So def in that pop/bubblegum wheelhouse.
