Mike would definitely have gone for the Blondie.  I'll give HM to Kiss and SSJ&tAJ, BOS to the Dan's "Kid Charlemagne," and OMGWTF to the NTM "Where Did Our Love Go" from J. Geils.

You gotta consider though, that Bromberg was living in Marin at the time (he and Jesse Colin Young were probably neighbors on the ridgetop), playing with the likes of Jerry Garcia, Commander Cody, and Maria Muldaur, and he gigged regularly all over northern CA!
