You're exactly right.  They'd split up by '72, but reconvened for this, which I think they performed on SNL as well (would have loved to have seen that).  It appeared on both of their solo albums released that year.

I liked it, but being as I have no history with it, not sure I could in good conscience pull the trigger on a BOS vote. I'm tempted to call it the ultimate Narada. A song almost no one remembers. (Good thing we've got you around Mike, otherwise we still wouldn't know who it was.)

OK, true confessions time.  How many of you thought Bob Seger just made up the name Cat Man Doo?  I'd certainly never heard of the real place.

One of my fondest memories of NYC "Prog" FM was the late great Scott Muni's "English Hour" -- Friday afternoons at 5 he'd play imports from that week's British charts. "Pinball" became a turntable hit as a result (and it only reached #22 in the UK) and I've always thought it was a great song. I've heard it on CG once or twice.
